The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great option if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to help you map your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is setup it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button click. You can choose the general clean option which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and also suck large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with the next models.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug furniture and walls. It's a great improvement over the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has an advanced filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating within your home. We think it's a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, like stairs and other barriers, and to tidy up your entire house efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it is aware of areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck with its ability to remove hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping settings that are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. If it comes into contact with a wall or furniture piece it gently smacks into it and then moves along.
What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to operate almost completely on its own, with no need for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash to the hidden bin and also washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only inform you if something is wrong for example, low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also create and merge actual rooms to alter how the Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly clear out clutter such as toys, clothes and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has a self-cleaning base station that automatically cleans and empty the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dust bin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty.
Additionally, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as voice assistant that operates offline, so you can manage it even when away from home. It also comes with additional mopping modes as well as a smart routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean certain rooms or areas of your home instead of simply following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested, thanks to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that creates plenty best affordable robot vacuum of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots in this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, identify different types of flooring and is one of the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage when moving around the house. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that serves as the on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to choose cleaning modes, schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons will allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation techniques to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stain. The mops also work well, removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the floor, or quaker oats on the carpet.
